BOLL epoxy primer, as one of the few primers available on the painting market, passed the resistance tests for corrosivity class C4M, which is described in the standard PN-EN ISO 12944-6:2018-03.
Fulfilment of requirements assigned to class C4M means that BOLL epoxy primer has high and long-term corrosion resistance, allowing its application in industrial and coastal areas with average salinity, as well as in chemical plants, swimming pools or shipyards.
Laboratory resistance tests for class C4M required passing tests lasting several hundred hours in a corrosion chamber and a humidity chamber.

- steel - clean manually or mechanically the remains of the varnish coating, rust, grease and dirt. Degrease with silicone remover
- old paint coatings - sand dry with P220 - P400 paper and degrease with silicone remover
- polyester putties - dry sand with P240 - P320 paper, degrease with silicone remover
- aluminium - sand dry with P280 - P360 paper or P360 abrasive needled cloth (maroon colour), degrease with silicone remover
- galvanized steel - grind with abrasive needled cloth P360 (maroon colour) , degrease with silicone remover
- stainless steel - grind with abrasive needled cloth P360 (maroon colour), degrease with silicone remover
- polyester laminates - dry sand with P280 paper, degrease with silicone remover
